The ITU Kaleidoscope 2018 event was held at the tenth edition of the ITU academic conferences from November 26 to 28 at the Santa Fe Regional Faculty.

Nearly 250 delegates from 18 countries participated in the conference and more than 75 participants joined remotely. The event was co-sponsored technically by the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) and the IEEE Communication Society (IEEE ComSoc), and with the generous support of the Santa Fe Lottery and the NEC. A substantial 11-month preparatory process was required for this edition of Kaleidoscope. This process involved the efforts and collaboration of six TSB staff members, a five-member Steering Committee (SC) and a Technical Program Committee (TPC) of 83 members, all internationally recognized ICT experts from the academy, institutes of Research and the private sector.
